African Arts journal is seeking original exhibition reviews for publication on a rolling basis focussed on both historical and contemporary African art exhibitions taking place in Europe from established and emerging scholars. Reviews are encouraged to provide readers with a general overview of an exhibition, stimulate debate among museum/academic communities, and offer critical interventions and original perspectives on the curatorial framework, themes and broader impact. Exhibitions taking place in under-represented regions of Eastern and Southern Europe are particularly welcome.
Reviews must be written in English. No financial remuneration is provided. Please send an email to discuss your proposal before you write the review. All exhibition reviews need to be cleared by the editor before being submitted.
