Segnaliamo la call for papers per la conferenza “History and Decolonisation: Perspectives on Transformation in South African Historiography”, organizzata dal Department of Historical and Heritage Studies, Faculty of Humanities, University of Pretoria, South Africa, e che si terrà nei giorni 26 e 27 giugno 2019.
“South Africa’s higher education sector and epistemic landscapes are ripe for change. On-going debates and initiatives within the sector on decolonisation and transformation have raised a number of questions with historiographical implications, including who produces historical knowledge, how and why; which narratives ought to set the research agenda; through which mediums may they best be communicated and disseminated; and how might knowledge of the past most appropriately be commemorated.”
